Michael joined Horizon Law in 2015 and is the Company’s Private Client Solicitor specialising in Wills, Probate and Administration of Estates, Deputyship and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Michael qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and, until recently, had his own practice in North London.
Although based in our Barnet Office, Michael frequently spends time in our Hatfield and Redbourn offices, as well as making home visits to see clients.

Steve is a qualified Solicitor and Licensed Conveyancer in our practice, with over 12 years’ experience of residential Conveyancing and other property work.
Steve is aware that buying and selling a property is an integral part of many people’s lives and understands that whether you are buying or selling you want to:

- be kept informed throughout the process
- understand the conveyancing process
- have the process proceed as smoothly as possible

Guy Wheatcroft is the Managing Director and main shareholder of Horizon Law.
Guy qualified as a Solicitor in 1980. After qualifying, Guy worked in a major international law firm in the City of London, advising central and local government bodies, public utilities, national house-builders and property developers on their property portfolios.
In 2001 Guy retired from his City partnership to set up his own property and legal businesses.
In 2011 Guy took over the management of Horizon Law. He combines the roles of Head of Legal Practice and Head of Finance and Administration.
Guy continues to advise selected clients of Horizon Law on property-related matters.

After education at St Edmund’s College, Ware and studying Law at Jesus College, Cambridge, Jeremy Gillham qualified as a solicitor in 1977. He specialises in commercial and residential property law. Jeremy has spent most of his career as a partner in West End and City firms, dealing with the development, management and sale of shopping centres, business parks, offices and residential estates. He now enjoys the fresh challenge of helping the Barnet offices of Horizon Law expand their already thriving property practice.
Outside work, Jeremy’s main interests are sport and education. He coaches junior cricket and still plays cricket regularly, although his rugby playing days are finally over. He was Chairman of Letchworth Cricket Club and Datchworth Rugby Club for several years and is a member of MCC. He also sits on the Hertfordshire RFU Disciplinary Panel. He has just retired as Chair of Governors of St Edmund’s College, after sixteen years on the Board.

Jennie has been a legal PA/Assistant for over 24 years, working for a Legal 500 law firm in Northampton, the national house-builder, Persimmon plc, as well as working for a corporate law firm in St. Albans. She supports Steve Zavros and other members of the department as a Conveyancing Assistant.

Having previously worked for a specialist recruitment agency for several years, Maria came to the Barnet office of Horizon Law with a wealth of administrative experience. As well as being Personal Assistant to the Barnet Area Director, Maria also deals with Barnet office managerial duties on a day to day basis.
